Identifying 4 types of sentences – All students stand (active/kinesthetic) and act out a motion that identifies a sentence that is read aloud. This allows the teacher to see 100% of students respond at once for a quick informal assessment of "who gets it?"
This can be done with any concept by even turning themselves into "human letters" to respond.
